Overview
ASI Week is a week-long event that culminates with the Block Party, open to the Sac State community. In 2022, the event was brought back after the pandemic lockdown, which added pressure to create an eye-catching design that would allow ASI to reintroduce its services and programs to the students and entice the public to participate in the event.
Another level of complexity was added by the fact that ASI Week usually takes place during the first 2–3 weeks of the semester, a time when the campus is bustling. All campus entities—clubs, programs, organizations—are actively trying to attract new and returning students and advertise their offerings. This period is optimal as students are not too deep into the semester and are still open to absorbing new information.
