What better showcases a designer’s ability to think within systems and work with restrictions than a deck of designed playing cards? This project provided an opportunity to experiment with a fun subject matter, illustrate, utilize color theory knowledge, and come up with new suits while working within the boundaries of system parameters.
The original colors were navy and gold, expanding to include silver/gray and burgundy. The deck is completed with a back design featuring celestial and astrological elements.
